Buildings are subject to many different risks while under construction. Builders Risk coverage insures against loss to buildings in the course of this construction. The coverage also includes machinery and equipment used in the course of construction and materials incidental to construction. Builders Risk insurance can often be purchased in terms of three-months, six-months, or 12-months.
